Skin Resurfacing, Simplified.
AcuPeel™ was created from a simple yet transformative belief:
the skin does not need to be forced to change — it can be guided back into balance.
Rather than aggressive exfoliation or invasive protocols, AcuPeel™ utilizes Spicule Regeneration Therapy (SRT) to activate renewal from within. This innovative approach honors the skin’s innate intelligence, working in harmony with its natural processes rather than against them.
Using naturally derived spicules (from Freshwater Sponge), AcuPeel™ acts as an “acupuncture-like” signal, encouraging a gentle peel, regeneration, and skin revitalization—without reliance on harsh chemicals, devices, or unnecessary trauma.
We are not disrupting the skin.
We are communicating with it.
Little to no downtime.
peels that heal, naturally
Spicules act like millions of gentle, natural micro‑needles (“liquid-microneedling”) that increase blood circulation, activate fibroblasts, and promote collagen and elastin production.
The skin improves its ability to repair itself, resulting in a reduction of acne and scars, brightening of pigment spots, and a firmer, more even complexion.

Common Q&A
What are Freshwater Specules?
Spicules are microscopic, needle-like structures naturally derived from freshwater sponges.
They are composed primarily of silica (a mineral) and function as the sponge’s internal support system (much like our bones). When used in advanced skin treatments, these tiny spicules act like natural micro-needles.

What does an AcuPeel™ treatment feel like?
During your AcuPeel™ treatment, you may experience warmth, tingling, or a prickly sensation as the spicules are gently worked into the skin. While the prickly sensation is a normal part of the treatment experience, discomfort is generally mild and numbing is not typically required.
Following treatment, your skin may continue to feel slightly prickly or sensitive to the touch. This sensation typically subsides within 48 hours.
Your esthetician will provide you with specific post-treatment care instructions to support your skin throughout the renewal process and help you achieve the best possible results.
Is there downtime?
AcuPeel™ is available in two treatment levels—Level I and Level II. Your esthetician will select the appropriate level based on your skin type, concerns, treatment goals, and desired level of resurfacing.
LEVEL I — GENTLE RESURFACING
Level I is designed to provide effective skin renewal with minimal visible peeling or downtime. You may experience slight dryness or light flaking; however, much of the exfoliation occurs gradually. You may notice dead skin cells gently sloughing away as you cleanse, revealing smoother, refreshed-looking skin.
LEVEL II — ADVANCED RESURFACING
Level II provides a more intensive resurfacing experience with more visible peeling. Most clients are able to continue their normal daily activities, but should expect noticeable peeling for approximately 3–4 days.
The peeling is often similar in appearance to the natural shedding that occurs after a sunburn, as the outermost layers of dead skin gradually flake away to reveal fresher, smoother and more radiant-looking skin underneath.
When will I see results?
Most clients report noticing visible improvements after their first AcuPeel™ treatment, including smoother texture, brighter tone, and a refreshed, more radiant appearance.
For more advanced skin concerns or optimal results, your esthetician may recommend a series of AcuPeel™ treatments. With each treatment, the skin’s renewal process is supported, allowing you to see continued, progressive improvement over time.
